One of the Club's core activities is its luncheon and dinner
programs, with featured speakers that reflect the extensive range of the club
members' interests. Programs presented each year include offerings in the
visual, performing, design and written arts; history, politics, finance, social
and public policy, foreign policy, civic issues, tourism, education,
transportation, medical, natural science and environmental issues; and
lifestyle subjects covering everything from cuisine to fashion to travel to
mountain climbing to getting organized.
Some speakers are local, many come from elsewhere, but all are
stimulating and time is always provided for a lively exchange of questions and
answers.
The Club's calendar fills quickly and reservations are
required because many of the offerings sell out.
